Ignite the Dream: Tackling Race and Class in America

  • Georgetown University ICC Auditorium Washington 20057 United States (map)

Pass the Torch will feature reflections, student art, and a panel discussion with student activists who have worked to tackle these issues on campus. While the first panel discusses race and class at a more macro level, Pass the Torch allows us to think critically about race and class at Georgetown. The panel discussion will be followed by roundtable discussions for us to engage with our peers.

Join us on Thursday April 9 in ICC Auditorium at 7PM as Dr. Marcia Chatelain will be moderating an engaging panel on what race and class look like in the contemporary United States of America.  This conversation is meant to discuss how and why these disparities continue to exist and how we can work towards a more just system.
