The seventh conference of the Commission for Cultures of Popular Entertainment and Pleasure  (KPUV) of the German Society for Empirical Cultural Studies (DGEKW) deals with the everyday life of girl cultures, their media representation, history and theory.

The conference will take place from June 2nd to 4th, 2022 at the Institute for Social Anthropology and Empirical Cultural Studies (ISEK) at the University of Zurich and is organized in cooperation with the Institute for Cultural Anthropology/European Ethnology at the Georg-August University of Göttingen (KAEE).

The keynote speech will be given by the well-known historian and Pulitzer Prize winner Marcia Chatelain.
