Otis Library "Evening with an Author" Fundraiser

  • Otis Library 261 Main Street Norwich, CT, 06360 United States (map)

Our signature fundraising event has been a community favorite since 2004. This year we are excited to share that our celebration is set to come home to 261 Main Street. Join us for cocktails, hors’d oeuvres, delicious dinner stations, desserts, extravagant silent auction items, an engaging author address, and a book signing.

We are proud to announce that this year’s event features the work of Dr. Marcia Chatelain. Dr. Chatelain won a Pulitzer Prize in History for her book FRANCHISE: The Golden Arches in Black America. The book examines the intricate relationship among African American politicians, civil rights organizations, communities, and the fast food industry.
